Eh it's fine. Early Jacquemus and JW Anderson namesake. The leather pieces are actually really nice and when you remove the styling tricks, I see some rather easy to wear separates.
As bland as it may be visually, this is a rather calming direction for him to down. Plus from a technical level, everything looks very well done. I would have have tempted him to explore the stripes in some summer knitwear pieces.
If you leave out the obnoxious twinky clown outfits and focus on some of the skirt suits, this fool actually has skills but he has no discretion/common sense which you need as well. This though is well stitched ,dare I say better than most of the sh!t I saw in NYFW
The collection is actually quite good. The proportions are occasionally a bit off, sometimes by as little as a centimeter or two. His pattern-making ambitions are admirable; he clearly puts a lot of thought into it. However, the styling is still subpar, and the accessories tend to cheapen the looks.
