so it will never be a fashion magazine. i'm happy to hear it. because sometimes those magazine turns into fashion chic avant garde thing.
i'm really excited by all ART in this.
when is the second issue coming out?

i just picked up issue #1 and it's really great. i especially enjoy that the interviews are long and substantive. the pilati photo shoot is amazing too.

I don't think it is but i've flipped through a weird magazine at Colette, which featured previews of a lot of mags and there was paradis. I don't remember anything about it except a picture of Olivier Zahm (purple editor) and a naked girl. I also spotted the cover of the new Fantastic Man. Terry Richardson shot it but I can't remember who's on the cover I don't think it was someone famous, i think it was a cook but i'm not sure at all.

Issues were just received at the office. It should be on sale now or in the next couple of days. The Colette publication featured Paradis amongst several other titles the people there deemed worth including in their 10th anniversary book. Haven't seen the Colette mag yet but looking forward to it. Saw the Paradis#2 mock-up and it is even better than #1. That's just my opinion and I do write for it, but I think it's cool. Speaking as a reasonably normal bloke, it is one of the few men's mags I would not feel uncomfortable about having on my coffee table. 99% of mags for straight men are sophomoric. Paradis doesn't patronise men. Nor does it patronise women.

I saw it at the bookstore. So, there was an editorial with Anouck Lepère (naked)by Jock Sturges, Malgosia (naked) by Juergen Teller, Olivier Zahm with naked girls by Nathaniel Goldberg and a few others that I don't remember.

Finally got my hands on this and have to say I love it. A great read in addition to some wonderful shoots.

Anouck's shoot by Jock Sturges is stunning,she exudes such innocence and sexiness.

Interesting pictorials with Malgosia (on Sigmund Freud's couch), Crystal Renn and a number of other models as well as Jeanloup Sieff's daughter and her friend, one of whom looks very like a young Nastasja Kinski.
