Paris Fashion Week S/S 09 Schedule

Oh, yes, Bring 'em on!

Cannot wait to see who'll make me drool, first...& second...

Thanks for schedules! So excited!:buzz: btw, wasn't Gareth Pugh usually showing in London?

Nina Ricci, Rick Owens, Ann D, McQ, Gareth Pugh, Givenchy, Watanabe, CDG... That's going to be one hell of a week :woot:

I can't believe Viktor&Rolf aren't showing this season?!?!

WHY? Is it because they have bad financial backing?

I think it's because they wanna be all avantgarde again...you can't wanna be avantgarde, you just are or you are not. They lost it somewhere....

^^^ thanks! :flower:

I still can't accept the fact that Viktor&Rolf aren't going to be doing a show!! It makes me want to cry! They always had the best spectacles!

Now all we have left is Alexander McQueen!!!

^^I agree! I'm so bummed about V&R!

I'll be interested to see McQueen this season...from what I've read, he's done with historic collections and this SS show is apparently going to be very architectural and modern...I'm guessing it'll be more along the lines of his resort show.

I'm dying for Gaultier, Balenciaga

Excited for Givenchy, YSL, John Galliano, Lanvin and Lacroix.

I'm nervous for Dior and Nina Ricci...I'm really not expecting much from either, to be honest. If Galliano for Dior returns to form, then I'll about die, but if it's going to be anything like his last few collections, I can't say I'll be surprised. As far as Ricci is concerned...I haven't liked it since FW 07. If he does another SS 08/ FW 08 clone collection, I'll be sad.

they need to hurry up already.. i cannot WAIT for alexander mcqueen, chanel, and miu miu!

Some new information about the Viktor & Rolf show:

ONE-FACED: Shalom Harlow will be the one and only star of Viktor & Rolf’s online fashion show on Oct. 2, WWD has learned. A favorite model of the Dutch design duo – their date at the last Met ball, and the backdrop for their Pierrot-themed show last year – Harlow will model all the looks of the spring collection, parading in the stately salon of Viktor & Rolf’s virtual fashion house. The collection’s theme is “Funny Face” and the shoot is scheduled for early next week. Harlow will also be draped in a new product: a jewelry collection in collaboration with Atelier Swarovski.

The most important show for me this season is probably going to be Chloe.

After all they've got the essence of Phoebe Philo back with her protege (?) Hannah.

I wonder what direction they'll go in? The nostalgia of the past or a completely new and modern vision?

Same here, but I'm affraid the second option is more probable. Well, fingers crossed that not! ^_^

And what a pitty that V&R aren't doing a show this season. At least we have Nina Ricci tonight! :woot:

I can't wait to see Dior tomorrow :buzz:

^ me a little, I really hope he got the inspiration from the same place as Haute Couture

oh, come on guys! they are my favourite designers, but sometimes i feel like they're trying to get rid of all of their fans. for one time, sit down on your talented a**es, design a nice collection that people can wear and make a show out of it like in those good old days when you were cool and not annoying. i'm having a hard time liking them. so, it's all up to McQueen now.

I can't wait for Lanvin, Miu Miu, Galliano, Yamamoto, and several others! I hope these collections don't come as an unfortunate surprise as several others have...
