Paris Jackson Addresses Leaving Dior Fashion Show Over Concerns for Horses, posted May 29, 2018

Paris Jackson is addressing the reports about her suddenly leaving in the middle of the Dior fashion show over the weekend.

While stepping out for the fashion show last week in Paris, it was reported that the 20-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson “stormed out” over concerns for the horses that models rode during the show.

Paris then took to Twitter to address the reports saying that she did not “support” the way the horses were being treated.

“to be clear, i did not ‘storm out’ of the show. i quietly got up and walked out trying my hardest to not cause a scene, because i do not support animals being branded and whipped. not trying to become enemies in the fashion world in any way, but i will always be myself,” Paris tweeted.

During the fashion show, models rode side-saddle on horses and between the performances and the pouring ran, the ladies had to use crops to get the horses attention to go straight.

Paris then sent out another tweet that despite being “surprised” and “a little heartbroken” over the show, she still has hopes for the future of fashion.
