Patou S/S 2020 Paris | the Fashion Spot

Patou S/S 2020 Paris

Does anyone need this? It's another maison that shouldn't be revived. It's so obvious that they want to get the ex-Carven customer but that "cute" look is not that relevant today. What's more, Henry's Nina Ricci was a massive flop.

Just look at Poiret and you'll get the idea where Patou is going. Nowhere.

I actually like this...
Henry is not a High Fashion designer. He is great at that contemporary thing and it’s great because Patou will fill the void left by Carven...And if they are clever, they can also do great knitwear and kinda replace Rykiel and it has the charm of old Lanvin.
It’s cute and well executed. This is Henry in his element!

I have to say that the pure added value of this is the price point. I would surely spend my money at Patou rather than at Fenty.
It’s an honest product!

His Carven was boring.
His Nina Ricci was boring.
His Patou is boring.

Henry is very 'old fashion' in his way of thinking and being. He belongs to the 80s way of doing fashion. He doesn't understand millenials, Instagram, what's being cool...
He is stuck in is dated " la parisienne wannabe couture " mood forever.

Thanks God this didn't get a fashion show...A lookbook is already too much.

Its the basic b*tch variant for teenage girls
