Patrick Robinson for Paco Rabanne Fall/Winter 2005, Paris

if you look on Style.com for the complete collection, it doesn't have that much fur. definitely not as much as JLo's Sweetface collection, for sure...

Isn't the word fourrure?
no, fourrure means "fur" ... "fourreur" is furrier, ie someone who deals in/designs fur garments.

i really like this...i was concerned after his perry ellis collections he wouldn't be able to produce "grown up" clothes.

not a great fan of fur but its a cute collection rather similar to gucci 2 seasons back tho where hana was in the ads

The fur is horrid, and the rest isn't much better either...some stand-outs though...SOME...

Interesting cuffs on the first coat.

as for everything else, yuck.

I find it odd that for Mr. Robinson, the main characteristic of the house was metal. I always thought metal was an easy cliche and surely he should have seen though it. What the house represented in its day were tech heavy ideas, at least as heavy as they could get. I wish he brought a real sense of freshness, that he would have looked toward the future in his own way and, at least in that capacity, maintained some kind of connection to what the legacy of the house is. Defacing the house is fine; trying to make it over completely is boring...another American in Paris.

not totally feeling this, but did see a few i like

lovely collection. but this looked a little too much like patrick and not enough like paco.

ooh that last coat is fab. Don't know how I missed this collection. I like Robinson and I like Rabanne but I'll have to see the entire collection...like most others don't like the fur but I quite like some of the shapes.
