1934 Paco Rabanne (retired) work : 1966-2004

Thank you! This thread is long overdue. So forward thinking -- even the fragrance bottle was modern and bold. I still haven't tried the fragrance and want to.

Hardy in white Paco micro-mini

Merci, Dos Violines, for initiating this thread.
Et Merci Beaucoup, La Bordelique, for all those remarkable images.
I'm doing some work these days with the photographer who created that very iconic photo of Francoise Hardy wearing PR's linked white plastic lozenge micro mini. Eventually, I'll report in with a tale or two of what I learn.

Paco on French Tv

Oh, I forgot to mention....

Last Christmas/NewYears-ish, there was a repeat of a show that had Paco R as a guest.... which you'd think wasn't that big a deal, except that post-Apocalyptic prediction, he was pretty much persona non grata on French Tv.
(Which you'd think wasn't that big a deal, except for the fact that France seems to have a shockingly severe celebrity shortage, which means that pretty much everyone is on Tv most nights. Pascal Obispo, say, or perhaps you, discussing with Pascal Obispo and Emmanuelle Beart and, usually, Jane Birkin, and that philosophe whose name you can never remember....

Anyway, the mere fact that they allowed Paco Rabanne back on board the precious micro-diodes was kind of earth-shaking, although it was a Happy Happy Tres Nostalgique Look Back at Those Fabulous Sixties' Pop Stars... I was, needless to say, scribbling notes furiously.... and kinda hoping that Paco would bust out with a new prognostication.....no such luck.

I wish I'd seen this bracelet at USD$300 a couple of years ago... and earrings...
