Pattern making help

do you have a basic bodice/shirt pattern?
and basic skirt or A-line skirt pattern?

I don't have a bodice block yet, but I have the instructions to make one. I have a basic skirt block.

Can I see it?
You would turn it into an A-line skirt.
And then you would slash it into four sections and spread it to make up for the gathers at the top.

It would be attached to the bodice

My block is here. Front is left, right is back.

A-line skirt

ok so mine's a little different.. should be okay
(front is on the right
back is on the left)

you take your largest darts, on front and back
cut a straight line down from end of dart to the hem/end of skirt

spread it open to the amount you want, both back and front should be equal
(mine's in the green textured area..
i used 4 cm
if you use a bigger amount you just get a wider shape)
--place some paper on the back, and glue it down

Then your paper pattern won't lay flat
so you just push it flat down on the darts
and it will create a new size for the darts...

ah yes that makes sense. How would I go about constructing the bodice, so it has that nice v shape at the bottom and the fold over sleeves?

you just draw a line from the waist on the side seam down to how low you want the V to be?
and you match it with your A-line skirt so that they will fit together...

After doing this, you slash the A-line again .. four sections.. and spread them at the top to make up for the gathers. When you gather this and sew it to the bodice, they should match.

the sleeves are just a basic short sleeve
and the hem is folded up
it's just styling...
nothing complicated

Ok the dress above is currently on hold. Does anyone know how i'd go about making a peplum skirt pattern?

here are some instructions for adjusting a basic skirt block into a peplum skirt hope they help

if you dont want it to button down the front just dont add the placket on not sure why its done that way.

I think it's one but I only want the kimono sleeves pattern and this kind of neck pattern:

hello , where you able to make it ??

you can try using a pattern that has a lapel
and extend the collar

then extend the shoulder seam down to the arm
because there is a seam there at the arm, where front joins to the back
