Paula "Pau" Bertolini

^ Nice work by Shameer. Her face is kind of asymmetrical and boxy, but so strong.

I found this very funny for some reason. Probably because he didn't say a thing about the other girls.

When you see my name on a test, there is a good chance it was the model's first or second day in New York. That's sort of my thing, I like them fresh. Agents send me the very new girls because I teach them to make choices and leaps of faith; I force them to experiment.

Toma and Julia Oliv both have amazing looks (and Julia Oliv had ridiculously good skin), but Pau was the one who improved the most over the course of three hours.

I normally get excited about a shoot with a new face for two specific reasons: (1) if the model walks in and is "in the room" as a presence all their own (Sofi Berelidze, Imogen Morris Clarke) or (2) when they learn really fast (Pau, Inna P, Darya K). That blog is like my fridge, and I put up pictures of the girls I'm most proud of, my giant baby sisters. Paula has great potential, she just hasn't gotten matched up with the right campaign yet.
