I've already stated it before but.. I'm over the moon about the consequent editorial work Pauline's put out. I was afraid her so-so runway season would be followed up by zero print work at all, yet she discreetly continues on her path towards certain recognition editorial-wise, which is comforting given how so many girls end up sticking to being runway models and that is all. Haughtily regal is what came up to my mind first to describe Pauline in these shots aswell, though I'm amazed at how well she carried off the unfussy look at J.Crew. Great versatility going on here

No idea how I got unsubscribed from this thread! Her cover for Black is absolutely magnificent. Not to mention her spread in L'Officiel
I can only agree with you, Carla-A, her slowly but steadily growing number of quality of print-work is truly impressive. I hope there's even more to come - because even though I'd love to see more of Pauline on the runways too in the next season, I'd be totally fine with her taking "the Holman-path" and becoming a fantastic print-girl instead.

Totally agreed! Such a clever way to manage a girl. I have to admit that I was secretly hoping for her to really break out the last season, with a major campaign under her belt etc.Her career is so interesting, comparable to that of Ashley Smith: beautiful, unique girl with an agency that knows how to steadily manage a budding star. So many editorials across such a broad spectrum and solid key bookings have made her a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully Marilyn can keep the work coming.

Pauline's nabbed an editorial in the NY Times T Style Magazine Holiday 2010! Preview:

V Love Pauline
Pauline Van Der Cruysse is only 19 years of age, but the raven-haired, brooding beauty has already won over a bevy of fashion’s most eminent designers and editors. Hailing from Belgium—where she was originally discovered and signed with Dominique Models in Brussels—she now resides with Marilyn Model Mgmt in New York and Elite in Paris. This season saw Pauline walking for Prada, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and Ohne Titel. V are so enraptured by our girl with the sulking stare, that she has already appeared in V three times and in V MAN twice! GORGEOUS!
