its so trange, she is a really good actress but you would never say taht looking at the movies she made in the U.S.

cause she always get the "spanish, italian, greek, mexican" roles and that's so stupid cause she can do much better than suiting US Hollywood stereotypes. You need good old Almodóvar to get it right or than Sergio Castellito from Non ti mouvere which was amazing, I really loved her as Italia, what character!

it's not just the characters, but simply the fact that she's not very natural speaking in english, her actual acting ability is much better in spanish (and italian, non ti muovere was indeed amazing!)

I never thought she was a good actress till I saw Don't Move, I mean I was watching it with English subtitles, but somehow I believed her character more in that then any English movie she's ever done even though I couldn't understand the words out of her mouth. I always found her a terrible actress based on the English movies I'd seen of her before....
