V Magazine is like a superrich fashion lover spending on the most expensive, exclusive and coveted designs in the world, but has absolutely no style, charm or personality of his/ her own.
They have access to, and always hire the top people in the industry, but the results are consistently flat, uninspired and amateurishly playing dress-up. It's like the magazine is run by a bunch of rich, but inexperienced fashion and design students who are always ripping off others' great ideas but can never translate well, or make it their own.
These covers epitomize that blandness, that flatness, the overused ideas that is inexperience-- and they have some of the most beautiful top models to work with. Chemistry? Nevermind that; I feel that all the these top photographers don't bother giving their best concepts to this magazine. It's like the couples aren't even in the same room... Over-photoshopped? Nevermind that; the juvenile positive/negative photoshop effect on the "V" is astonishingly Photoshop v. 3.0, it must be a joke.
