His collaborations with Milla Jovovich are amazing. I just looked at one of his books (Stories) and it seems to me that he favored many of the androgynous and unique looking models of the 1990's (Kirsten McMenamy, Guinevere van Seenus). His shots of Milla, though, are the best in my opinion. He captures every aspect of her beauty and is able to transform her from being very masculine to being extremely sexy to being fragile.

just went through all 37 pages of this thread. he is truly an icon and a remarkable photographer. he manages to pull out a very particular kind of honesty in his subjects. they look different for Lindbergh than they do for other photographers!

he's wonderful!! thank you everyone for all your contributions to this thread.

i can't wait to see his edit with Cindy Crawford in the new Harper's Bazaar.
