"Top models, actresses and businesswomen – two outstanding icons revealed. The 1990s produced a new kind of top model. They were beautiful girls but they were also much more than that.

With their strong characters, the “supermodels” turned the codes of fashion upside down, and extended the boundaries of pop culture. Among them, Eva Herzigova and Milla Jovovich immediately stood out. Both grew up far from the glamour of Hollywood, and made their mark without conforming to the stereotypes imposed by the Western dream machine. Leading photographer Peter Linbergh was one of the first to notice the two top models. This film sheds light on the lesser-known facets of two outstanding paths."
