thanks scott! i always look forward to your posts.. the womens stuff is great.. i like the mens tops but those pleated pants get the thumbs down from me..

Thanks for sharing, Scott... I do receive some really brief emails that just contain his showroom dates every season, I have never seen anything except from his graduate collection though (which didn't impress me too much, frankly) so it's good to see it finally in pictures.

It's somewhat close to Bernhard Willhelm's more quiet pieces, also typically Antwerp in terms of the menswear (the younger Belgians seem to be somewhat in love with zip-up jackets, buttoned-up shirts and this type of pants - also the jacquard fabrics and trashy colour combos... a lot of (designers) from Antwerp I know dress like this or feature similar pieces in their collections). Maybe I cannot identify with a light-hearted, slightly ironic point of view in fashion, but the clothes themselves don't appeal to me that much...

thanxx Scott .. look amazing wow I like it.. very much .. need to see more m9re pics

I agree about the similarity to Bernhard Willhelm's more subtle pieces but I love this all the same. Something very quietly beautiful about the pieces. The womenswear is more successful than the menswear though.

I completely agree about the menswear. It's definitely not as strong as last season's wonderful menswear.

But I must disagree about this being ironic. I think his work is more influenced by folklore costumes and his native Austrian roots. The pleated trousers too...I dunno,I think other than Raf,Peter is the only other Antwerp designer I've seen do them. At least in this manner.

thanks for bringing this in, scott ... i like the subtle playfulness, too. the presentation is also very aesthetic.

and i doubt anyone would reference his austrian roots without a hint of irony:p

I lvoe hsi stuff veyr much, although I don't like this one quite as mch as the last two. I think his clothes play both with irony and folklore elemnts. Their both fun and magical, which is what I like most about them.

I liek the men's wear alot, I think it's rare to see creative men's wear like this.

oh-such unappealing colours and prints...
and that fringe is just a bad eighties redux...
**go to the trim/craft store and sew some stuff on your sweatshirt...

really not feeling this...:ermm:
it gets better the second time you look at it imo....
but it's just a bit too 'clown-ish'...
but not in a happy way...
