New York--In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of its "Possession" collection, Piaget has announced a collaboration with actress Sienna Miller, who will appear in new images wearing the collection's gold and diamond jewelry.
Known for her performances in films such as Factory Girl and Alfie, Miller is also a style icon who has appeared on numerous fashion magazine covers, including the cover of Vogue's famed September issue. Consistently photographed out and about, Miller's boho-chic style has made her a favorite among fashionistas.
Given her fashion cred, plus the way she uses her celebrity to help out the less fortunate--she's a global ambassador for International Medical Corps--Miller was an ideal fit for the campaign, according to Piaget. (See behind-the-scenes video of Miller's photo shoot with Piaget by clicking here).
"She's the ultimate woman of today and the perfect choice to embody one of Piaget's most successful jewelry collections ever," the brand said in a media release.
Possession, one of Piaget's most popular collections, is comprised of cuffs, bracelets, rings, earrings, pendants and necklaces, in white and yellow gold with pave diamonds. Each of the pieces contains the collection's signature round features, which the brand says implies the perfection of every material.
In the first of three images released from the series, Miller gives the collection a modern, casual and chic look, wearing slim black leather pants and a silky top with multiple Possession chains, bracelets and rings, all in yellow gold. Two additional images featuring Possession jewelry will be released in the coming months.
Snapped by legendary photographer Raymond Meier and styled by Vogue contributor Elissa Santisi, the shoot was captured in a behind-the-scenes "making of" video, also featuring interviews with Miller and the team on set. The video will be available on Piaget's Web site, its Facebook site and on YouTube starting May 17.
