I love this thread! I thought I was abnormal having about 200 magazines stacked in my room.

I have 2 bookcases filled with Vogues, Elles and TeenVogues. This thread makes me feel at home haha. I love going back and flipping through Vogues from years ago!

Mine are not quite as impressive as most here as I have only been collecting for not quite a year. Anyway I was trying to gain some order today and began to re-organize so here are all the homeless magazines that I removed from the cupboard:

This is the magic bag which I stack university prospectuses on top of to make myself feel smarter; it was over flowing until I began tidying up:

And this is the cupboard where I'm trying to fit everything but it just ends up looking messy:

wow! you guys have such fantastic collections, they put mine to shame.

yesterday i sorted through my uk vogues, putting them back into date order for easy reference after they'd got all messed up plucking out random issues to read. i decided to take a couple of pictures for this thread.

here they are piled up by year. mostly from 2000 onwards with a few exceptions.

and this is the shelf where they live. unfortunately it's full now so i'm going to have to start boxing up the older issues.


i also have a pile of international issues and about 100 other magazines; bazaar, elle, i-D etc. i'm keeping the international vogues but the others are going on ebay as i have no room in my tiny flat.

So here's a snapshot of my green room, completely filled with unsorted magazines, the horrific dungeon governed by a mad creature. There be no rules, no order, only HIM

I'm planning, though, to arrange them all according to year etc....and rebuild my spare room for that.

No... I don't any longer. It was time to let go. I donated most of my collection to a Fashion College. That way other people can get something from it & I can visit it in their library whenever I want.

I guess I'm not longer a MagAddict
