I've seen a wide spectrum of these colours being used in editorials and fashion shows, from lighter tones to mauve, grape, violet and plum. How do you girls wear these? What brands have the best colours?
Im scared of pink eyeshadows, reds especially, they can make you look sick in a heartbeat...unless is a really shocking pink, or a pale pale pearly pink, mixed with other colours..
i've got brown eyes and find that plum/berry works best w/ me.
my favourite, hands-down is: Lise Watier No Transfer Eye Colour (in Lavande)
It's a large pencil (not massive) - gooooorrrrrrgeeeouuuss colour
and doesn't smudge on my upper lid.
Goes on smooth, creamy, has a shimmer to it.
100% lovely & i'd get this indefinitely.
Someone gave me a sample size of Clinique's blusher in Mocha Pink and I use it as an eyeshadow instead of blusher. My eyes are oriental / almond shaped so I just line my eyes wiht black liner, sweep the blush over the entire lid and finish off with black mascara. It's a brownish-pink so it doens't really make me look like I've been crying all night!
I've always surprisingly looked good in (light) pinks and (light/medium) reds on the eyes. It somehow makes my green eyes pop, and usually only violets and purples are supposed to do that.
im not too daring when it comes to pink eyeshadow, so when i wear it, i only wear it on the brow bone, and that color is usually a golden pink or a pinky peach; and i always wear a champaign color on the lid. I dunno, i think wearing it across the entire eyelid makes my eyes look smaller- but thats just me
