Pippa Middleton

i dont know why she has a thread to be honest. I remember when cory kennedy first showed up we werent allowed to open a thread for her, because she did nothing. she only got a lot of pictures taking and put online. why does Pippa have a thread. dont get me wrong, I subscribed a few days ago... but i was wondering...

^^ perhaps because it's other people taking pictures of Pippa. The thing with Cory was different, it was like you ask a friend to take your pictures and then put them online and expect a thread here.. that was 2006, imagine the chaos now with the amount of bloggers dying to gain readers. The case of Pippa isn't very different than a lot of other socialites, or of Cory herself, the moment Cory was actually featured in publications, her thread was allowed.. it isn't that strict, we just didn't want to invite everyone to ask someone to start them a thread here, if that makes sense.

I do wish it was stricter though, I'm still saddened to see threads on p*rn stars here.

She was a very nice surprise at the weeding! Very elegant and classic, just like her sister. About the emerald dress, the color is fantastci, but I think the cleavage is not very appropriate!

Her maid of honour dress was perfection. I even preferred it slightly to what the bride wore.

Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that maybe her black liner is tattooed on and I wonder if that's not the case. Is there any picture of her without it?

I'd say she should mourn her privacy from now on...but she seems to relish the attention like a newborn starlet -- she knew all her angles coming out of the Goring hotel this morning for the family photocall. I'm so curious to see what she does with it all, she was clearly the one person who attended that wedding who made a splash as big as the bride and groom. Ah well, a star is born...

Don't forgot Pippa was the only grownup in the Bridal Party.
Therefore, you can't compare her to any other maid of honors who were children. lol
So the focal point was on her and her only.
Whoever suggested that Pippa would be the only grownup was an excellent move to put her in the spotlight.
Remember, Pippa's been in British tabloids before nothing of this magnitude ever catapulted her like it has at her sister and Williams wedding.

i am curious where this is taking her. i read she is in PR, so i bet she is going for something. i am waiting for her next step!

There is speculation that Catherine asked her to be her (Catherine's) 'lady in waiting.' Reading up on the role, Pippa would basically be a personal assistant to her sister, travelling abroad and to functions. Sweet deal if you ask me

She works for her parents company, Party Pieces. Pippa edits the company's online newsletter.

Why are people going on about her bum? It's flat!

I read elsewhere that she works for a party planning company in London? I think that makes sense given her parent's business that she would go into that type of role. I forget what the company is called - something like Table Talk? or Table Manners? I can't remember...

please someone tell me what "lady in waiting" meansssssss

A lady-in-waiting (also called waiting maid) is a female personal assistant at a noble court, attending to a queen, a princess or other noblewoman. A lady-in-waiting is often a noblewoman from a family highly thought of in good society, but usually from a lower rank (i.e., a lesser noble) than the one she attends to, she is not considered a servant. Their duties varied from court to court.
