Loathe though I am to defend Pippa, cause I don't like her style, I agree with this. I own several books on Jacqueline Kennedy's White House style and many of the things she wore, from day to evening, look the virtually the same from cut and colour to shaping. Her "not for the public to see" wardrobe was more off-beat, casual, fun and random (that wardrobe can be seen in the Kennedy memoribilia books rather than the official fashion tomes).

Pippa just doesn't bring that extra zing to makes one ignore the obvious about it being same-old, same-old.

See that's my point! It didn't matter with Jackie O, because she had so much flair. Pippa is incredibly bland.

Oh totally, don't get me wrong. I'm not a die hard fan or anything and I don't think her style even begins to compare with the likes of Jackie O. I just think she gets a really bad rep on here since she's a (fairly) normal girl who's been thrust into the spotlight so I just get a bit defensive over consistently mean criticisms of her.

It's jacket weather at the moment... And who knows? Maybe she's ran out of coats?
