Pippa Middleton

Nice dress, bad jacket, bad shoes, bad tights but we have seen worse. She definitely has more potential than her sister and is more risk taking. I love when she wears bright colours so I hope we will see more of her in those soon.

i don't think she takes any risks....i find her quite predictable. it's dress/skirt with a blazer or jacket on top, coordinating shoes and handbag, and an eye on the paps snapping her pic.

her latest outfit maybe could've worked if she had chosen a different pattern of tights, some pumps, and different bag. her handbag completely clashes w/ her outfit.

she wears a new coat every day, must be her 'thing' - but what an expense that must be.

She probably gets them for free from the store/designer or at least at a heavily discounted price if she does pay for them. The same goes for those Moladu handbags she has in every colour. There's nothing like free publicity.

The coast seems a bit too big doesn't it? As for the number of pair of coats she has, first of all her parents are millionnaire, second she seems to be working her but off in the field that doesn't pay badly at all. I think she can afford them ;)

I am not here to comment on her physical appearance but on her dress sense. She has a nice figure, one that is by no means impossible to dress.

Then...why did you comment on her physical appearance if you're not here to do that?

The massive belt on her coat is tacky, and the coat seems too big for her. And it's such a bland colour - is it brown? etc..

Because it's ok to call someone pretty?

Goodness knows Pippa's physical appearance (fashion choices aside) divides popular opinion but this isn't really the place to express it - it's why her bum doesn't have it's own thread  at the end of the day, in terms of facial attractiveness, there's not much she can do to change the way she looks. Style wise, she could throw out the majority of her accessories and I for one would be a lot happier :flower:

I know she can't change the way she looks, I never said that. And La Vanille said she was not here to 'comment on her physical appearance', she didn't mention particularly something negative.

Is her eyeliner tattooed on? Both Pippa and Kate look like they have tattoo/permanent eyeliner on to me.

I didn't say you did

And La Vanille said she was not here to 'comment on her physical appearance', she didn't mention particularly something negative.

I only defended La Vanille because my understanding of her comment was that she didn't want to get into a discussion about Pippa's physical appearance - and your comment suggested that you did i.e questioning her use of the word 'pretty'.

My point is that calling someone pretty is a harmless, but suggesting that they're not pretty is mean. This is just my opinion.

The jury is out on this one - it's always there and is always applied the same way in the same colour... maybe it's semi-permanent?

Well to be fair, I don't think anyone can comment on Pippa's (or Kate's, as that was a hot topic back in the day) work ethic. I think it's muddy waters as we'll never know one way or another unless we knew them personally. And then suggesting her rich parents fund her wardrobe is even less flattering imo, she's a grown woman but anyway...

Re the coats, I know she has millionaire parents etc etc. I think it's just strange to me as I've always seen winter coats as an investment if that makes sense and she seems to have about twenty.

unlike Kate we actually see her working every day or so since she got the job with the Duke of somewhere. As for the coat, she doesn't own much than any other celebrities out there..

I could never change coats that often, I would just forget stuff in the pockets and then go crazy looking for it.

she's not a celebrity? Plus going into work everyday shows absolutely nothing about work ethic. And also, pap pictures of Kate were banned at one point so who knows if she worked everyday or not - but once again, that's more or less irrelevant to ascertaining how much ability and discipline a person gives to their given career.
