Polaroids/Digitals

Dasha's polaroids are lovely. Though I dont think I would call her a red head, maybe more of a auburn?

First of all I must say Cintia looks amazing! And so does Catherine and maybe a cople of other girls (I saw only the last 3 pages) but the rest:huh: , I am sorry but I don't think they even look like models, I see girls thousand times more gorgeous every day, what's going on in the fashion world, why do they want to promote these mm how to call it in order not to be too rude...'edgy' girls, just to make average people feel better or what?

yep!....
There is a point reached where the girls aren't special but simply plain/ugly.

^^ to be a good model you need more than to look gorgeous (i mean in terms of classic beauty). But i can see the point there is bunch of girl who might be considered as ugly...

^haha. I was thinking the same thing myself.

With the opening up of eastern europe and russia there seems to be this huge number of new girls hitting the books, but I have to wonder how many of them are going to have viable careers when so many of them seem just "interesting" rather than beautiful and interesting.

and that's really sad. Because u have no idea how many gorgeous girls Russia and Ukraine have, but they sit in their hometowns because they do not have the right look

^ How true...I don't know how long designers and ad agencies are going to want to pay big bucks for models that look like all the other average people you see walking down the street... A big part of the idea in marketing is to stand out and get people's attention- I don't see how some of these girls are going to do that...

blind girls are more versatile than striking ones, that's one of the reasons I think

I was told that designers choose "ugly" girls for runway modeling because they want audience members to notice the clothes and not the model...how true is that?

to an extent. The trend now, is that the girls are less striking and blends more behind and the focus is more on the clothes.

^^ I've heard that too, but I just start noticing how average that designers models are... I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that says about the clothes or, for that matter, the designer...

In any case; any great new pics to share!!?? :woot:
