I really loved this girl until I realised she was the model in the disgusting Delhi Gang r*pe editorial that went viral glamorising r*pe 'The Wrong Turn'.

Why didn't she refuse to be part of it?

I remember this edit... and still have mixed feelings about it, like I did with that Vogue Italia Meisel editorial from several years ago, the one that had a bunch of models drinking and carousing in a soldiers' camp. iirc it was taken around the time that the news media was exposing r*pe in the military. When it comes to a subject like r*pe in photography, it is a very fine line to walk between mirroring vs glamourising it.

As for why Pooja didn't refuse, who knows. Maybe she put too much faith in the photographer's intent.
