Prada F/W 2025.26 by Oliver Hadlee Pearch

I don't understand the connection between Prada and Kendall Jenner, really. Random and poorly matched casting, I'm surprised by Raf Simons and Miuccia.
pop influence it works for sales we seen it with miu miu balenciaga gucci etc kardashian & co effect

they have many followers (and haters) so it amplify´s the reach by buzz and attention it has nothing to do with connection with the brand.

its about making more sales by having more attention drawn to the brand and ad campaign

Absolutely, you're right, but this reasoning isn't the kind of reasoning I'd expect from Simons or Prada, who are committed to conveying highbrow, intellectual fashion. However, I must also admit that Miuccia is a businesswoman at heart, but I would have avoided putting Kendall Jenner in a seasonal campaign.

big money makes for compromises to be really small, when you can expand on the brand's reach by millions and sales on a big scale just by using x person to model you will do it same for all the ambassadors.

ad campaign, pre show teasers , show attenties, online content gifting red carpet , press phot call , airport or paparazzi shots are just another frame which they can place all these people athletes celebrities ambassadors influencers to amplify sales and attention to the brand via these peoples fan base that are more loyal to the idol than a brand with a slogan Thinking fashion since 1913.

with the rise of social media and the economy of personal brand as an institution people look to idols (personalities) for guidance and authenticity in stead of institutional brands or legacy media , why a pod caster comedian has more following than cnn when it comes to news etc

it will only increase in years to come according to experts not me :-)

This is the Prada that I hate, in all honesty. Why even bother with a campaign? What a total waste of a photoshoot. The casting is horrible, and so random, with Kendall Jenner seemingly just added for good measure or exposure. Atrocious photography from Oliver Hadlee Pearce too.

And got worse... you have Julia Nobis, which is an historic Prada girl and put Kendall as the star? What a terrible model she is, sorry for telling the truth. Not even all the money of the world can make her good. This is not the first time Raf hire the Kardashians/Jenner. He put the whole group for a Calvin Klein campaign. One of the things I disliked from Anna Wintour from the last 15 years is to make this girl happen, influenced by Kanye to put this entire family in the fashion industry. He's cancelled by all, but the Jenners will remain in ads and magazines to endless time, ugh...

sorry but on prada instagram they clearly made everything about Julia. she’s actually the only model credited. kendall could never.

Kendall is the star... The campaign is all about her...they put Loli, Julia and Sora in the background. I can barely see Loli and Awar in the video:D

After all that effort to position Kendall as the star, she didn’t even bother posting the campaign on her socials, LOL.

Prada is so desperate for hiring Kendall  I miss the good old days days with Meisel

The video is kind of amazing tbh.
I do like how diverse the cast is as well. But still awful campaign. It just gets worse and worse every time I see a new image...
