I loved the Jil Sander ad he did for spring 2012. The ad referenced The Birds and starred Daria Strokus and Natasha. Great ad.

Ah now I remembered it. I think the collection helps a lot too. I think the fact that it was such a different time for both Raf and Willy. Even his work for Raf's Dior was to me much better than CK. But his work at Prada never connects.

Oh so wonderful to see Meisel back at Prada and it astounds me the campaign was photographed remotely. The finished result is done to such a high standard, and far outshines all the remote-shot work from everyone else over recent months. Bravo!

Meisel doesnt shoot outside of the US so he worked remotely on the campaign as it was shot in Italy.

The modes look incredible. Prada is a brand that should be very selective with models. The free for all casting of previous years has really taken a hit on the prestige of it. The models chosen for this fit the campaign perfectly. I could do without Freja, but the others certainly make up for that.

Those new shots are wonderful. Merlijne S. fits this ad perfectly; she evokes that Prada woman look circa early 2000s (similar to Frankie Rayder or Daria Werbowy). I hope Willy Vanderperre stays out of the way for the S/S 2021 ad.

She should consider growing her hair long again and getting those big bangs...like it was in 2006.

Sorry but this whole "remotely shot" thing is bullsh*t. They should have credited the actual photographer and label Meisel as the creative director.
