Prada S/S 07 Milan

I'm really not sure how I feel about the laundry woman chic they're trying to go for. :/

^^ i feel sooo good about it... i don't think it's laundry chic, but plain chic.
how the fabrics and colors are matched is amazing, not as simple as it may seem imo.

I love all of it...usually I'm not big on the colours, but this is very nice. I read somewere that Miuccia Prada said this were all tops, and that they should be worn with trousers or skirts. Anyone heard about that one?

This collection took a while to grow on me but now I really love it, the color combinations are brilliant and the accessories are to die for!

Style.com wrote that "
[Miuccia Prada] laughed at one journalist's anxious questioning about the short pieces, saying, "I just didn't like anything I did below the waist." Meaning, "Don't panic, these are tops." "

I really love the colors used, they're so pretty. But I do not like any of the outfits, haha.

The colors are by far the best part of this collection. And it looks like many designers were inspired by the tones enough to use them for F/W.

is there maybe any explanation for the colours and fabrics in this collection?
colours as in those besides the jewel colours. there's like an odd pairing of mostly black w/ streaks of warm and cool colours.
and fabrics, there is some transparency and also these decorations that kind of make me think of shiny collected junk, bric-a-brac and plain rubbish...:ninja:

is it part of the trends, like what Prada is usually after somehow...

this collection can fit easily under 'YSL rive gauche'...it has Yves vitality, freedom, colors & turbans.
, I think that this is how a modern & young YSL women should look like.

thanks kuba for the pic..karma ;)
