Your pictures are not showing up 
I think she looks wonderful in that black/dark brown? dress above. The pictures are from the National Museum in Copenhagen and Marie is giving her first speech in Danish. It went so well. I watched a video clip of it and I was really impressed. 
By the way, could it be possible to change the title of the thread to "Princess Marie"?

I like the dress too but I LOVE the trench! it's very nice.

She went to Geneva alone? I thought now that she is a royal she would need a body gaurd. And she can just take off anywhere and go shopping? It seems like she would have too tight of a schedule to do that.
Maybe someone can fill me in...

I haven't seen any articles about her being in Geneva (I assume the pictures are new?), so I don't know exactly what she's doing there, but I think chances are quite high that she first of all went to visit her friends, family etc. Just because she's shopping in the pictures we see, I don't think we can assume that's the main purpose of her trip. Anyway she can't really shop in Møgeltønder where she lives, she'd have to go somewhere else and I can't believe she would be able to just stroll around on her own in the shops in Copenhagen without being recognised all the time, so I can see why she would prefer Geneva.
Furthermore I don't think she has that tight of scedule. She isn't working that much as a princess yet (for various reasons I quess).
Regarding the bodyguard issue - I would assume she has some PET-agent following her, but maybe just at a distance if otherwise isn't needed.
