^Seriously. I mean maybe if his .. was crammed up her mouth and that was the only thing covering it, I could understand. Or maybe I'm too lenient on how I think "provocative" ads should be, but I'd say some of you guys need to lighten up if you think these are offensive? :ermm:

^Provocative doesn't always mean offensive (Hence the separation of the terms in the thread title -- both types of ads are accepted in this topic). That AA ad is definitely provocative in its usage of sexual undertones/imagery -- but it's not the worst I've seen from the brand, and it wouldn't necessarily be offensive :)

Imo that AA ad is more skeevy than anything else. It's not provocative, it's not offensive, but you know it was striving to be both which only makes the lameness of it worse.

It's just a lowbrow attempt at creating shock value.

Totally off the topic, but Samuel Cubber from the YSL ads (#968 ), remind me so much to Dante from SATC movie

Whoever shoots the AA ads is trying and failing to be Terry Richardson. It's blatantly sexual, no creativity at all -_-

Nike recently pulled these ads for HyperDunk shoes for supposedly being anti-gay.

I kinde see the homophobis stuff but nothing important for me hahaha

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA well kinda:innocent: no but beeing serious is kinda homophobic in the fisr one which says "that aint right" and the guy almost has the entire ball in the mouth hahahaha

If a particular group in society deems it to be offensive I would hope the ads are changed. But my first impression of the ad was not anti-gay.
