This is so interesting...a list of al celebs who denied the show to air their episodes (hollywoodtuna.com)

Failed Pranks
* In December 2003, Kutcher attempted to "punk" WWE wrestler Bill Goldberg by having him think a truck had run over his prized motorcycle, when really it was a replica, but the stunt went wrong when the truck clearly missed the bike. Goldberg quickly realized what was going on, and asked "Who do I have to kill?". Kutcher then revealed himself, as the joke had failed.

* In June 2005, Kutcher failed to punk self-proclaimed King of Crunk Lil Jon. He was boarding a plane headed for Las Vegas, but Kutcher had actors playing customs agents tell him that he was actually headed for Ecuador. Lil Jon quickly identified members of the "customs agents" from previous episodes of the program, and asked for Kutcher to reveal himself.

* According to Kutcher himself, he failed to punk Neve Campbell twice until he finally succeeded on his third try in season 6.

* According to Nick Cannon in the March 3, 2006 People magazine, Ashton grew frustrated because he failed to fool Cannon about 4 times, with last attempt involving a man pretending to be trapped in a gas station. Cannon saw through the joke because he noticed the cameras and was not convinced by the actor's performance.

Not Yet Aired on MTV/Stars Denied Broadcasting Rights
Black Eyed Peas - Claimed in an interview that they were punk'd, noticed the 'cops' weren't real and got into a fight because they suspected them of being out to rob them
Finch - They noticed that Ashton Kutcher was behind this harassment
JoJo - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights. JoJo did not sign the release form to air her episode because she didn't want her young fans to see her swearing
Kristin Kreuk - Some people said that she was punk'd by Kutcher or his crew members
Juliette Lewis - MTV forgot to air her on Season 4
Constantine Maroulis - Claimed he was punk'd by Ryan Cabrera, who staged a national public radio show offering him 100 million dollars to pose nude in Playgirl
Edward Norton - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights
Grazielle Oganna - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights. According to Norton, she will sue Kutcher if the prank is aired
Ryan Phillips - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights
Pitbull - MTV forgot to air him on season 6
Simple Plan - They noticed the cameras
Alex Rodriguez - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights, although he thought it was a good idea

Michael Vartan - Denied Punk'd broadcasting rights. Vartan's lawyers threatened to file suit against Kutcher if the prank was aired

my first post:D

i would have loved to see A-rod getting punked. Derek jeter and Chris Rock according to page six have a `No punking clause` with MTV^_^

haha! I always wondered what happened when things didn't go right, or if stars totally lost it!
thanks cosmogrl5 :)

Wow I can't believe Michael Vartan wouldn't let them air his episode! I wonder how they punk'd him?

You're welcome ;)

That show is ridiculous...
They never suspect they are being punk'd?
Even I can see the bad performance.

i remember reading somewhere that they played upon his fear of flying, which is a really mean thing to do, in my opinion :judge:

I'm surprised that some of the ones that have been aired were broadcasted... like, I felt that Ashanti wasn't too nice... that's just an example... :innocent:

And, more specifically, I heard that they had parts falling off of the airplane Vartan was on but pretended it was going to take off anyway...what a horrible thing to do! Making someone believe that s/he is going to die isn't humorous  .

I don't really get punked. I've only watched it a couple of times but I don't really think its funny. Altho I did love the justin timberlake one but since then its gone totally down hill. If you're gonna make celebritys freak out and look stupid and least make it worth watching.

can some one please explain this too me .. im confused what is punked ?? is ti like pranks or something ?

Good for them! I can't STAND Punk'd...it's the stupidist show in the world.

Ugh, why won't it die already?!

Yes-- it is a show that play pranks on celebrities. Ashton Kutcher is behind the scenes and tells actors what to do through their earpiece. It puts celebs in awful positions and sometimes they lose their cool or cry which is why they probably won't sign the papers to air their episodes. Anyway, after the victim celebrity has had enough, Ashton comes out and tells them they have been punked.

I always wonder how the cast members aren't immediately recognized. I'm suspicious that some of the less famous people play along for the publicity.

Oh, please!

I agree the show is no politically correct ... but people should be able to laugh about themselves ... I mean ... Im not talking that they're public figures ... Im just saying that there's too much hunger and war and diseases out there for not to have a breather and laugh .... I admire people who arent afraid of being played on air ... I'd love that!

So has Ashton Kutcher's "fame"

I do agree about the Justin T. one, though. It was funny....I guess b/c at that time Justin was just starting to try to act all "gangsta" and seeing him exposed was great.

But all the other ones after his....the celebs acted just as I thought they would. Whiney babies basically....(how I picture them acting 24/7)
So they all would've been boring anyway...
And it's not like Ashton ever got more than about 5 really big stars:innocent:
