Oh good God, 25 covers for their 25th anniversary? How very novel of them. Why not just give us the Grace Hartzel cover and be done with it. I'm not a fan of her doe-eyed ingénue vibe, but that shot is breath taking. It's perhaps the vintage component of it all, and my favourite brand getting a Purple cover.

Still, I'm keen to see the rest.

I have a love/ hate relationship with Zahm. I think he's a total creep but at the same time probably one the most talented guys in the fashion magazine world, someone called him a true "renaissance" man, and i think it's an apt description.
Surprisingly i actually really like the girlfriend cover, it has nothing on Grace's, that is glorious, but better than Chloe's and she's usually a sure bet for Purple. Said that, the 25 cover thing is tailor made to annoy me beyond belief.

Your favourite brand is Coach, B98? I need to dump you for that, we're over

The covers? Oh, you know, they're tres Parisian..... But they put Coach on the cover.....

Well, I like how Stuart turned that brand around more than anything, lol. And some of the pieces are easy to wear, but it's not my favourite favourite. Why am I even backpedalling out of this?? Lol.

I'm glad for Coach. It can't just be 25 pretentious brands, at least two of them so far with delusions of grandeur who appears to be in the red.....

^Might as well just give covers to Zara and Primark since they sell so well. Last time I checked Miu Miu was doing just fine though.

I'm just waiting for some Yohji love shot in black and white.

Don't get the hate for Coach. They get coverage in Interview and other indies as well, so it's not that out of place to see them here on a cover. It'll just be one of 25 brands which will be selected, I'm assuming. Surely you lot can let that slide?

Sure. Now his cheap Iceberg has melted, Zahm can be your Coach

Oh no, sorry love, never cared for Olivier Zahm. Never have, never will.

Skye Fereirra by Sandy Kim.....she appears to be wearing Gucci.

Love the Sky cover but Chloe by I&V looks immaculate... Time to cough up those 40 euros. Hopefully they won't raise their ridiculously high price for this issue!

Purple magazine is the most white washed magazine ever, I was looking through their archive on their site, and looking at their entire magazine covers archive, they have never put any one of color ever on the cover of the magazine, except for maybe their first issue S/S 1998, which seems to be an asian woman.

I wouldn't be surprised that out of these 25 covers, only like 2 are with someone of color.

So far we have, Amanda Wall, Grace Hartzel, Chloe Sevigny, Sky Ferreira, Saskia de Brauw and Paul Hameline.
6 covers, 20 to go.

You mean 19......

So glad for Paul, and I think that's a great shot of him!! I hope there will be an older icon at least. No models, I'd like someone in the vein of Adjani, Deneuve, or Huppert. The latter two are all the rage right now, so it shouldn't be too hard to give them a cover.

Ooh, the Sophia Loren-esque cover between Jamie and Paul Hameline looks good!! Very simple for Purple. I'd like to see more of that. It being an anniversary issue, I'm dead set on getting a copy. It's either the Coach one, or that one. I will however NOT be getting the Slick Woods one. Hers is certainly the most awful so far.
