ra ra skirts - advice please

ok I wasnt sure what thread to put this in, so if mods think i wud be beeter in an other thread feel free to move it.

any ways here is my problem !! ok im in a dilema, my great aunt bought me this ra ra skirt it is in a black kind of t shirty materil. I know they are totally 80's and were in last winter, but my great aunt bought me one. And I feel like I shoul;d wear it as it would be mean not to. I would not be sure what to wear it with any ideas ?? pls help

Is that what they're called? Ra-Ra? Anyways I still like them but not in that material, like a organza type material and double-tiered...Karl w-as ahead when it came to this skirt.

I like them quite a bit but don't wear it like those girls wear it, no t-shirt, flip flops and a multicolore. Im trying to think of ways to wear it.

Shoes, Im thinking flat boots that are calf or knee high, or espadrilles (I saw a lovely emerald green pair), gladiator sandals would be lovely. Top wise Im thinking of a tank top, fitted tee or maybe a blazer. Something on top would have to be rather slim and simple because of the skirt, same with the shoes.

You could punk it up and wear Converses with it and some calf length tights with a tank top, lots of silver jewelry. Look back to the 80's but twist it with now...

Oh I like that. I was trying to get away from ballet flats but if you like them they'd work.

i like them over the knee, with high neck bouses and flats.. how long is your skirt?

it sort of rest just above the knee. i think its surposed to be shorter but I only have diddy legs.
