LOVE was in the air at the Cartier Mansion in New York City when the luxury jewelry house hosted a rooftop dinner to celebrate the second annual LOVE charity bracelet collection and the first-ever international LOVE day. Julianne Moore, Faith Hill, Eva Mendes and Rachel Wiesz were among the conscientious celebrities who unveiled special bracelets in support of their personal causes during an evening of shopping, supping and song.

Oscar-nominee Djimon Hounsou—who mingled with designer Narciso Rodgriguez and Rachel Weisz before heading upstairs for dinner—revealed just how deeply he was affected by the location shoot for Blood Diamond, tapping SOS Children's Villages as the beneficiary of sales from his copper-colored bracelet. "I met them in the country of Mozambique where we shot part of the movie," Housou said. "I'm here to raise some awareness but also to raise some money for them."

Rachel Weisz

Constant Gardener star Rachel Weisz chose a charity that sprouted from the filming of her Oscar-nominated film—the newly formed Constant Gardener Trust—to benefit from her lilac bracelet. "This was a way in which we wanted to give back to the communities that we filmed amongst, because we met some very inspiring and incredibly poor people," she explained. The yellow LOVE charity bracelet will raise awareness for another humanitarian organization, author Elie Wiesel's Foundation for Humanity.

she looks cute but that is definitely an interesting choice of dress

^ That is a rather unusual choice for her. Very left of field. I'm not quite sure I enjoy it. That said she's gorgeous. I generally love how she puts herself together. So elegant. Love to see her wear more Narciso, I recall her looking great in it last year.
