it can't be an old interview, as she's never only done Paris and NY. I don't really like anything at Milan, so I'm not too arsed about this, though I still suspect she'll walk something in Milan anyway either as an exclusive or a personal favor.

Para a modelo número um do mundo, a top gaúcha Raquel Zimmermann, 25, falta mais individualidade aos estilistas brasileiros. "Eles precisam acreditar mais no feeling deles e não nas tendências", diz.
Raquel, que vive em Nova York, esteve no Brasil para desfilar com exclusividade para a Animale. Ela estrelou várias campanhas importantes fora do país, inclusive para Lanvin, Fendi e Valentino.
Na entrevista a seguir, feita em São Paulo, ela diz que o "tempo das divas" acabou e revela que gosta de cantar e de tocar guitarra.




FOLHA - O que é fundamental para ser uma boa modelo?
RAQUEL ZIMMERMANN - Profissionalismo. O tempo das divas acabou. A Daria, a Carol Trentini, a Coco Rocha trabalham muito porque são profissionais. Tem milhares de modelos lindas, mas quem leva a profissão a sério é quem trabalha melhor.
FOLHA - O que falta na moda brasileira para ela deslanchar?
RAQUEL - Falta mais individualidade aos estilistas. Falta eles acreditarem no feeling deles e não na tendências.

FOLHA - Qual a maior preocupação de uma modelo que está no topo?
RAQUEL - A solidão. Estamos sempre sozinhas, em viagens, aeroportos, hotéis. Mas é o preço. Outra coisa importante é se preocupar com alimentação.

FOLHA - Como foi ser dirigida por David Lynch para uma publicidade da Gucci?
RAQUEL - Foi estranho, mas uma delícia. Quando cheguei no set, achei que fosse dar uma de atriz, mas ela me disse: "Você não vai dizer nada, só sentir". Fiquei desapontada, queria um script. Só não fiquei mais frustrada porque ele elogiou minha atuação. Me disse que eu deveria ser atriz. Mas não me iludo.

FOLHA - Você gostaria de ser atriz? O que gostaria de fazer quando não for mais modelo?
RAQUEL - Acho um clichê uma modelo querer ser atriz. Mas eu gosto de trabalhos que exijam criatividade. Gosto de arte e de rock. Queria poder estudar um pouco de tudo.

FOLHA - Você também gosta de cantar. É um hobby ou pretende virar cantora?
RAQUEL - Eu adoro cantar entre amigos e tocar guitarra, uma de minhas paixões. Estive no Japão fotografando e fui ao karaokê cantar "Paradise City", do Guns'n'Roses. Tenho alma de roqueira. Tenho uma coleção de guitarras. Tenho uma Gibson LesPaul, uma Fender e uma Gretch. Toco Guns'n'Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam. Mas a minha profissão acontece nas passarelas, onde sei como me comportar. Não saberia agir no palco.

Como está sua agenda?
Eu estive agora no Japão, onde fotografei para a Vogue de lá. Fui para Nova York, fiz um editorial para a Interview de setembro. Vim para o Brasil, onde desfilei com exclusividade para a Animale e vou fazer a campanha. Na seqüência tem Vogue América, Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld em Paris...É uma bola de neve, não pára! Ainda bem, né!
