I really feel like Wayfarers are done. Whenever I see someone wearing them now, I think that they look like they're trying too hard.
 
It doesnt mean that they are "done"... Just overexposed... They are classic, when the trend dies they're here to stay!
 
I have tortoiseshell with graduated lenses and I really like them, even though they're kind of everywhere now.
 
Now that I wear them, I can't picture myself wearing other sunglasses. I just adore them, I got two differents size and color, and it's just the perfect match with my outfits.
Even if they're done or too trendy, as far as you like them there's no reason not to wear them.
 
i LOVE them. i think they're one of those items that can make anyone look instantly fashionable and stylish, similarly to skinny jeans. i bought some oversized tortoiseshell wayfarers from topshop, though i really want the black raybans.

I totally agree. I've never been a fan of them- they do nothing for my own face (personally) and I wish the trend would gooo away. They're not my style. :yuk:
 
Wayfarer love

I love my wayfarers actually I think I better buy black ones too(mine is white) and I wear them all the time:)
 
I have a pair of bright red wayfarers, which I never would ended, except I had to get prescriptions put in a pair of sunglasses for legal driving (I'm blind as a bat, really :blush:) and so insurance actually footed the $200 something cost of my wayfarers. For that I'm thankful though, cause I adore them, and even better, no one else I know (personally, that is) wears Ray Ban wayfarers. ^_^

I got a Ray Ban Luxottica cover, but the wayfarers itself looks like it's the Bausch and Lomb version.

On one arm, it says 'Wayfarer' and 'Handmade in Italy' and the other arm has 'RB2140 902/57' and some numbers on it.

On the glasses itself there is a small BL logo on the side.

Does anybody know if this should be the case? Thanks! :flower:

it sounds real up til the point where you said that there's a BL logo...that should not be there if it's the Lux one.

So what do you think of the black and clear ones? I like that they're different from the regular black ones.
