Rayban wayfarers #1

Fabulyss - those are wayfarers and new ones at that since you can see the "ray ban" on his upper left lens in white print. I'm thinking these are either the classic 2140 in black with green lenses or the "new wayfarer" in the same color combo. I like the woman's clubmaster's too!

I think that everyone should have at least a pair of Wayfarers (Black or Tortoise) and Aviators, they're basic and classic. Despite the fact there's always some new sunglass trend in the fashion world, these two stand the test of time.

They have the power to make the most simple and plain outfit into something outstanding.

exactly my point :) totally agree with you!

I love those sunglasses (and have one). It's cool and classic at the same time...

^^ITA. I don't think either one could look dated.

Anna Dello Russo is rocking the wayfarer recently. Can anyone I.D. her model? I think she's wearing the 2140 in 54mm.

I've got a pair of glasses. I wonder if i should cut my mane, because they seem to look better with exposed forehead, dont they?

Don't think there's a need to do that, probably just tie back or tame your mane a little.

i have heavy bangs and a huge mop of hair and think my wayfarers look fine with it! depends how hardcore your hair is interfering and how large the glasses are.

also, sunglasses in the winter = totally ok. how else are you supposed to see through snowglare? at least in new york you'll go blind. polarized glasses are especially great for this. i think i wear sunglasses more in the winter than in the summer, honestly. plus they protect your eye makeup from getting all teary and smudged when your eyes start watering from the cold.

Word.
Wayfarers were hot, a year ago. Now, i turn my head, and they're there on 14 year-old girls, and I just can't stand them anymore! I tend to compare them with shuttershades these days.
Next sunglass-trend, please?

I'm still going to keep wearing them whether or not they are still popular. the 14 yr olds will move onto something else eventually...

I don't see a lot of ray-bans on tweens, more like the Pacsun wayfarers! I'll continue wearing mine til all of them are broken, even if everyone is wearing them. Wear what you like, and don't let other people influence you that much.

I scored dark tortoise wayfarers at T.J. Maxx for $50 last month and now I'm so spoiled because of them, haha. They are so nice and sturdy. I won't go back to $10 sunglasses anymore.

yeah but its kind of death by association. people think your a trend wh*re too if you wear it.

but i have to agree its a real classic "forever" item.

That's what I keep thinking too...
Remember when aviators were the trend?

Yeah and I don't see many people wearing them except for those who wore them all along. I have the new wayfarer style and I adore them.

i still love them too, i dont think theyll die soon, at least mine wont.
