I almost bought clubmasters at one time.. they're so unique. I'm almost loving round dark "winged" sunglasses like that cause they remind me of old pics of my mom! Chloe Sevigny wore some cute ones lately too.

uberQuirkiness: you need to provide a source for your image otherwise it will have to be removed. :flower:

i love this trend. i found a couple pairs of white-rimmed wayfarer style sunglasses .. one on ebay for $15 and a unique, larger pair (if they're considered to be wayfarers at all) at a thrift shop for a quarter.

Apparently, Dazed and Confused are on Ray Ban's payroll as well as Brett Easton Ellis...:

TAKE ME OUT AND SHOW ME OFF

Mick Rock, a one-time student turned photographer has aligned himself with almost every musical movement in recent years. His passion has been unrivalled from the moment he turned up at Oxford Town Hall to frame an undiscovered David Bowie strutting to an audience of 20. "David knew we had something that night. He kept asking me, 'Did you get it, did you get it" There isn't a band alive today that wouldn't want to have Mick's lens focussed on them. Rock's latest series features a new generation of musicians, celebrating the return of the classic rebel sunnies, the Ray Ban. Iconic and unmistakable, they have eased hangovers and allowed a little incognito for everyone from Bob Dylan to the Beastie Boys, and now Franz to the The Killers. With an edge that only Rock's lens can realise, Wayfarer once again align themselves with the rock stars of the decade. JG

Im planning to buy a pair of wayfarers but Im totally confused with the sizes

The only ones I can find in the stores are the wayfarer II (I presume RB 2038) and they are WAAAY too small for my dinosaur-like head

I've found some other styles on the internet such as RB 2132 and RB 2039 but I'm not sure about their size.

Anyone has any of this styles? Any help will be sooo much appreciated

^^Those are the "new" styles made by Luxottica, which i think are horrible :yuk:

The original wayfarer was 5022 and then there was 5024 (slightly bigger,i think you may like those.)If i were you,i'd look around ebay for some original wayfarers rather than buying the ugly overpriced new styles B)

Does anyone have any pictures of the 2 vintage wayfarer sizes on someone so I can compare them? Im really confused too & its hard buying from Ebay not being able to try on & all. Thanks.

i think ebay is your best bet..i found mine at a vintage shop...so look in any thrift stores you pass by

^I don't think RayBan ever made them in white, so you should just search "white wayfarer" and you could probably find them from a generic brand.

hey how can you know if they are the real thing? because couple a years ago I bought excact similar sunglasses but they don't have any name on them...does the original thing have some logo?

^^yeah the latest ones that are remade from the 1950s version has 'ray-ban' on the side

Oh
But I have this excact pair, what brand are these?

The first wayfarers didn't have any logos on the outside, you'd have to check the inside of the arms for the word wayfarer or the style number.
