Red Eyes

I figured this was the best place to put this question.

Lately the whites of my eyes have been getting red - and I think it's from spending too much time on the computer (at work and at home) and also probably from the cold weather.

No I haven't been smoking too much wacky tobaccy, lol.

Does anyone have a natural or otherwise remedy for this?

i use visine...thats not really natural, but it helps....

Is the room you site in dry or moist ? My eyes got really bad at one time where I was working in an office with really dry air.

Air conditioning really dries out my eyes, especially when I wear contacts. I use Natural Tears eye drops. Similasan Healthy Eye Drops #1 for Dry and Red Eyes is good too, but it's hard to find.

Thanks guys... The air here can get quite dry, so that could be the case. It looks like eye drops are the way to go. I'll check in with the optometrist this week.

get "naphcon forte", they work much better and faster than visine (i would know this because of wacky tobaccy) and last longer and seem to burn less on impact.

they also make zits less red!!

Be careful with the visine--if you overuse it, it will actually cause more eye redness and irritation.

I'd use artificial tears and try to get some rest, and see if the problem gets better. If not, maybe call your eye doctor.
