Rellik is situated at the foot of Trellick Tower on Golborne Rd, just next to Portobello Rd. Opened in December 1999, by three partners, Fiona Stuart, Claire Stansfield and Steven Philip, who all met previously while running their own succesful market stalls on Portobello Rd.

Rellik is a unique and independently owned vintage boutique stocking clothing and accesssories ranging in style and content from the 1920's to the mid 80's. Designers include Vivienne Westwood; Alaia; Bill Gibb; Bodymap; Comme des Garçons; Christian Dior; Pierre Cardin; Malcom Maclaren; Giogio St Angelo; Pucci; Punk; Ossie Clark; Rachel Auburn; Terry de Havilland; Thea Porter; YSL and Yohji Yammamoto to name a few. With three individual approaches to vintage the shop offers a varied and diverse selection to cater to many tastes.

With a wider selection of stock available than is ever-currently on the shop floor, specific requests and designers would be recommended to contact them first to make an appointment before visiting the shop.

Unfortnetly I have never been to Rellik and would love to go there soon. I may be going to London in the beggining of this Summer and I'm planning on spending all my money there! What I don't know if prices are very expensive or reasonable. Have any of you been there? What did you think of it and what did you like most in there?
Here are some pics of articles about Rellik.

Vickycookie, please supply a credit for the originator of the images in post #3, we cannot use google (or any other search engine) as a source.

Thank you! :flower:

I've never been there only passed it on a bus but I would say it's really not the best place to go to get cheap vintage. They all know the designers there so they price accordingly. But I'm sure it's interesting.

I hate to say it but I think Rellik is VERY overrated. The prices are getting hiked up. I remember going there when I was like 14 and you could still get dresses for like 30-40 pounds but now because of all the hype and every celeb name-dropping the place, you're looking at roughly £70-100 for a dress that you could probably find on eBay for the fraction of the price. Much more for any note-worthy designers! Yes, they do have a great selection of all those designers you mentioned but with a hefty price tag to go with it. It's a great place for browsing but like Steinberg & Tolkein - not the most cost effective!

One of a Kind which is on Portobello Road is like Rellik but slightly cheaper.

Vickycookie: I really would not recommend spending all your money on one place in London anyway with so many fab places to shop and if you are going to drop all your money all in one go - don't do it on Rellik! Just my opinion.....

Thanks Susie for the reply, but I love Vivienne Westwood and I've heard they have a lot of her stuff. Have you ever been there?

Could some1 post direction to get to Rellik and One of a Kind from out of portobello road tube station. WHich way do you go? How far etc. Thanks sooo much :))

go to rellik on a tuesday if you're nice to stephen he'll give you discount also if he thinks you look good in the clothes he'll nock the price down

i've noticed that in one of a kind LOADS of the stuff is just on show and not for sale

how are the sizes they stock? do they stock a lot of small sizes?

Depends.... but naturally, vintage clothing will come up smaller anyway...

the past two times that i have been to London i've looked for Rellik and haven't been able to find it:doh: I'll be going again at the end of this month so hopefully third time lucky, fingers crossed!!!:lucky:

do they also buy stuff from the general public? any one knows hos this would work?? tia

Yes they do. Just pop in with want you'd like to sell or give them a phone call before.

thanks, i got this Dior jacket and Versace trousers I would like to sell or maybe exchange. I might pop in the shop tomorrow...will let you know what they say
