Maybe Rick needs a reset, a collection where he goes back to his roots…

This collection looks like he tried to appeal to all his different fanbases. It’s almost a cliché of the archetype of a RO menswear customer.

The livestream was unwatchable! Those strobing lights almost made me nauseous. Actually seeing the clothes? Forget it!

I’m actually surprised that the runway pictures came out looking anywhere near good…I’m sure it was fun for the photographers.

The clothes don’t tell me much on first viewing, it feels almost Van-Beirendonck-gone-goth with the fetishistic undercurrent throughout. I’ll give it time…

Totally agree! It is a nightmare trying to watch any of his collections from the last years. The clothes are mere an afterthought for him, because all you can watch in the video are either smoke or panoramics from the set.

Same like every time there was a flash, the camera couldn’t focus and everything was pixelated. And when the strobes started in the finale my livestream was out of control buffering/freezing going crazy like there was too much electricity being used up at the venue LOL

Once a designer starts designing for a very specific client for several seasons it can get stale for everyone else. In Rick's case it seems to be his obsession with Tyrone that has got him in a choke hold. He's playing dress-up with him while we're waiting for him to get bored and move on.
Oh well, another round of gargantuan shoulder-pads, chunky heels and the odd leather jacket.
