i placed my preorder for a size 38 in his biker jacket (drape collar, asymmetrical zip, knitted undersleeve). but im a bit anxious! did i order the right size?

i wear a size 2 normally in womens US tops. i keep hearing different things about the sizing of his biker jacket. some say i should get the 38 some say 40...what do you think? NAP says it runs true to size, but a barneys sales rep told me it runs small. so confused.

i think you chose right if you are a US2. i had a girl in yesterday and she is a US0 or US2 and the 40 (shearling though) was too big on her.

Im a 2 and I could only find the shearling in 40 so thats what I ended up getting. I would like to get it taken in a little sometime, but it still looks good and when worn open it looks pretty much the same. So I think you made the right choice.

velony,thanks. actually. the leather was a bit dry when i got i. i used an entire jar (small) of leather moisturizer one night and it is now smoooshy perfect.

Can anybody recognize the jacket that Gareth Pugh is wearing during this interview, I managed to take some still from it. The jacket looks like it is fleece lined and is in a distressed/blistered leather.

I love the neckline and the draping at the front. Could anyone maybe identify a season or if its a style that gets carried over maybe some more information on the style.

empaulio, thnaks. the leather looks like the leather on my new ro jacket from this past winter, mine is from the main ro line, classic moto , which is repeated all the time. the inside has a deep espresso lining and outside is a distressed black leather like the one in the pix.
i think tangerine bought a men's version this past winter with the same leather as mine. i think his is dark borwn, but the same texture leather. so, i am guessing the one in the pix is from this past fall/winter collections.

Thank you chauss after looking at it since I posted them pictures I thought it did look like one of the jackets that you and also a few more members on here own. I was not aware he also did that style for men, anybody have any pictures?

I haven't seen a men's jacket like the one Gareth is wearing; it has the ribbed knit arm inserts and the collar lining in contrasting color, which I've only seen on the women's jackets. I am thinking this is a new or custom-made jacket.

Thanks tangerine I am wondering if it is from the womens collections as that style has been done in that leather and with contrasting lining.
I dont think it is from spring/summer as is it fleece lined unless I am mistaken I always thought Rick's winter jackets were lined/part lined. Or it could be as you said, a custom made.
It does look very good on him, I think my next jacket will have to have ribbed knit arms, they fit so good
