I don't see why some people find this so shocking, Rihanna is an extremely beautiful girl, with a body that is closer to a models than most other celeberties. Plus, IMG signs tons of celebs, Drew Barrymore, Julianne Moore, Mischa Barton, Liv Tyler, Selma Blair.

If you check IMG's site, you'll see a number of girls they rep who aren't real models, including several tennis players, actresses, celebs, etc., so it wouldn't be a surprise at all they might sign Rihanna. No, she doesn't look like a model and if not for her singing, IMG would never sign her, but the combination of her celebrity-hood and some decent looks mean IMG thinks they can make some money off her. In the end that's what it's all about.

I saw this and am actually queezy! I really don't think Rhianna is all what she is made out to be! She is beautiful, but oh so commercial! And that haircut makes her look cheap. Over half of my year group have it like that now!

Her haircut actually flatters her, something you don't know............when you have a forehead, wearing your hair too long actually makes it look bigger. Cutting you hair in a bob and parting your hair at an angle makes it look smaller. Her haircut doesn't look cheap. I like it, I just don't like the fact that everyone and their grandma has the same cut but that is what happens when you are a star with 11+ hit songs, all platinum albums: you develop a following aka fans.

I don't understand most of the replies in this thread. It's quite sickening, to be honest. She's a very pretty and unique looking girl, tall, nice body, good voice, and catchy songs.

Most of the people here act like she is some disgusting, talentless piece of filth. In fact, it seems to be a recurring tendancy around tFS. So many people belittle celebrities, models, and royalty on a day-to-day basis with such comments that make me want to run away from here and never come back. It really makes one wonder what the posters of these comments are like, physically and otherwise, to such freely and guiltlessly speak of other attractive and young people in such degrading ways.

I thank all of the people in this thread who proposed a reasonable opinion and did not resort to childish ways like others have a habit of doing.

^ I agree with you. I'm not saying that Rihanna has the best voice, the thread is about her being represented by IMG. The are people (exaris Hilton) who is famous for what? that are signed to agencies. As soon as I started this thread I knew there was going to be a problem. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when you say she's ugly over and over like a record player it makes no sense. Rihanna has done what alot of artist can't and she is also a trend setter, IMG looks at her and sees $$$$$, she's bankable: end of story.

They represent them. They are in a different division. This isn't the same as models scouted for fashion print and runway. They aren't representing Rihanna because they think she'll walk for Dior

It wasn't directed to you at all. I weas just stating that people are being so hard on her for no reason. She will be represented as a celebrity not a model, and people are making he out to be the most ugliest woman in the world. I hope you didn't take offense to my comment.
