Aww I'm so pleased you like them, Ziegfeld Girl! Her hair did look ravishing in this, I agree. I recently learned of the movie too - interestingly it's been remade a few times.

The film itself is cute but not amazing. Rita is very cute in it and has a few nice dance sequences (some of the Greek-themed ones are a bit silly ) and of course she looks incredible, but I wouldn't say it's one of her very best films. Hope that helps ^^

I'm so happy you like them girls I would definitely recommend Blood & Sand to Rita fans, it also stars the beautiful Linda Darnell, Tyrone Power, and Anthony Quinn.
