It's very pretty and the last dress is really nice. Its reminiscent of the flapper-esque aesthetic of Spring 2008.

But ultimately, the sex appeal of these clothes is close to zero. Cavalli needs to stop ignoring the DNA of his brand and inject it with some raw sexiness if he doesn't want to alienate his customers.

i dont get it ! what went wrong ? ! i loved him for everything sexy ! now it feels like not even cavali ... i hope cavali wasn't possessed by a ghost !

It doesn't look like typical Cavalli. I like it :p Last dress is great!

It really doesn´t look like Cavalli but it´s nice. The last dress is very lovely.

I love second and fourth look, wow, unexpectedly good!

I hate it.
And the second coat looks like an Alexander McQueen fw 06/07 rip-off!.

The rest ist simply boring

Not typically Cavalli, but it looks interesting. Could have a bit more sexy edge though

very different, so different that i wish he would just stick to doing the sexy thing, which he does best imo

i like the trench a little. and all the shoes!!
look at those shoes (although we can't see much ) i wanna see detail pics of those

I feel exactly the same way with Cavalli recently. I've never been his biggest fan, but at least when he did his beaded-to-death, plunging-to-the-navel, feather, fur and fabulosity smothered stuff it felt genuine. That's who he was and what he believed in. Plus, even though most of the time his stuff took a sharp left into tacky territory, it was much more interesting to look at than his recent obsession with floaty, vintage floral chiffon.

Kudos to him for trying to do something out of his comfort zone, but I don't think it's working.

^^that's exactly what i've been trying to say about basically every cavalli collection in the last year.... and also what i think has been going on with dolce & gabbana for so long.
i get that as a designer, the things you like and what you feel looks right is a perception that may change over time... but the identity is something that should remain untouched. You may wanna experiment with this or that theme, one or another decade, ... but there should always be a slight feeling of déjà vu that identifies your creations.
the way i look at it is, if i was to edit a book on any of these designers work, would these recent and rather bland collections make it to its pages? if i was to tell someone what cavalli stands for and had to pic a handful of images, would i chose any of the newest?

this is cavalli!!! its nice but boring , it lacks that sl*tty young socialite vibe his clothes usually have.
