A free-spirited, glamorous rock ’n’ roll feel ran through Roberto Cavalli’s resort collection, which the designer described as, “My ethereal interpretation of true sartorial excellence approached in a relaxed and informal way.” To that, luxurious leather biker jackets were shown with printed silk twill tops and matching viscose pants, or with slightly baggy cotton and linen trousers and patchwork cotton lace tops with leather details.
Inspired by his travels around the world, Cavalli also infused the clothes with Oriental references, i.e., exotic floral motifs embroidered on a turquoise sweater as well as a masculine silk twill and linen tuxedo jacket worn over a silk georgette dress in the same pattern.
