Hey, thank you for those scans. I did not know about that woman before. Regarding Jimmy Hendrix, I only remember a groupie named Devon. Not even sure if I got that name right. Anyway, she was with him at the end. There was also a Monika - she is featured in the Balfour book: "Rock Wives".

You're welcome guys. I didn't know Monika was featured in Balfour's book. I'll have to check it out. Didn't she eventually take her own life? If you can get a copy of Kathy's book, it's very good. I read it some time ago. Monika was in the making of writing a book but was threatened? and thus never published, if I remember correctly.

I have checked and the name is Monika Danneman, page 155 from Rock Wives. Before I read that book I had no idea who she was. I still don't know much about her.
The book was written in 1985-86 so I don't know what happenned to her afterward.

Bebe's face is huge. I hate it when people - men or women - get fillers put into their faces. Especially if it's permanent, as it seems to be in Bebe's case.
I think Botox is okay if used properly, and it only lasts up to six months, so if you overdo it, it's okay.

I saw this rokc docs on vh1 i believe a week ago on the women of the sunset strip and even though 80's groupioes aren't exactly my cup of tea i juts thought adriana smith was just damn cool and quite the rocker(you can hear her orgasmic tribute to the guns and roses album appetite for destuction in the song "rocket queen"

Oh yes I remember this Erin girl. I have totally forgotten about her. Didn't he married that model Stephanie Seymor? (not sure if I got her name right)... I guess it was after Erin? Boy, my memory is not what it used to be...LoL!

Thanks, luxie, for posting those. I read Slash's autobiography last year, and it had the story of Adriana in it. I thought that was mean of Axl to do to Steven b/c Steven was dating Adriana at the time. Oh well. I saw Steven on Dr. Drew's two shows, and he is so messed up, but seems like such a sweet, sweet guy. His mother was really mean to him, and even came on the show, and was still cruel to him. Still, whenever Steven smiles, he has that cute, "litte boy" smile and you can see how charming his. I think he truly is a tortured soul.

And Axl was cute - but as I had just posted before - he's ANOTHER one who has gone and ruined his face by getting fillers. I wish he'd have left his face alone.

I bought a bio on Axl, but only skimmed through it. Just from reading Slash's autobiography, I gather Axl had/has a lot of insecurity issues, which probably accounts for the plastic surgery.
I wish he and Mickey Rourke would have left their faces alone! I liked them how they were.

i know right? they used to be so handsome the way they were. i think plastic surgery most of the times can't help anything, really. specially when the person is beautiful already.

That's why I like Brigitte Bardot, for instance - it's refreshing to see someone actually age and look like a real grandma!

Brigitte Bardot is a good example. I have seen her in a french program last year. An hour long interview with her in her garden. I could not believe my eyes. She was so gorgeous! I mean that was filmed in 2006 which made her to be 72 in the interview. Wow!
