Anyone know anything about Xiola Bleu? She was a girlfriend of Perrry Farrell's from Jane's Addiction and was the inspiration for the song "Three Days". It sounds like she looked AMAZING! There used to be a description of her online from the SPIN magazine 2003 article on the band, where she was described as being a precocious artist, aged fourteen when Perry first met her. She wore clashing coloured outfits and was supposedly very striking. She died young, of a heroin overdose, in her apartment in New York.

I'm fascinated by Jane's and would love to see some pics of her.

Bebe's Oscar Wilde t-shirt recreated!

I don't know one person who doesn't LOVE the Oscar Wilde t-shirt that Bebe Buell was photographed in in 1979. It turned out she made the shirt herself with a friend who did sick screens back then.

So this thread talked a lot about the rumor that "I'm With the Band" was going to be made into a movie, but looks like it will be a tv show instead? Interesting... I don't really see Zooey as Pamela, but that could be because I'm not a fan of hers.

Famous for sleeping her way through a succession of rock and screen stars in the late ’60s and early ’70s, Des Barres chronicles her exploits and the frequent depression that followed when her interludes with famous dudes didn’t turn into anything meaningful. Almost Famous fictionalized the story, and it sounds like this will be based in reality. Which means, if the series is picked up, we could potentially enjoy a parade of ’stars of the week’ playing famous rockers and actors. Which would be amusing, if nothing else.

Agree. They look nothing alike, but Zooey is an amazing actress.

I'm so excited about this too. It is funny that in her book Miss Pam writes about hating her "small" eyes and tiny tatas, funny that Zooey has enormous big blue eyes and a fairly big chest.
Funny how Hollywood can make us into who we aren't.
I wonder too how each week there will be a new adventure with a rock star. Will they show the bad parts?
Pam gets dumped in her book alot. She also does dumping.
Wonder if they will keep that part in.

I admire Pamela's honesty. The poor thing did get dumped a few times, and shunned by Chris Hillman, with whom she was smitten.

The way Bebe was dumped by Elvis Costello was horrible and difficult to read through, particularly the termination of her pregnancy and her regret. Very sad.
