Their design trajectory has been a really weird one to watch over the years. Something happened after Spring 2017 where the tweeness they started to toy with became the only thing they looked at. Ever since then, they've felt so Pretty In Pink levels of cheesy.
Rodarte has always felt very "home sewer"/arts and crafty with imagination to it, but now that feeling is too literal. Will admit it is saccharine enough to sell because it has Siriano levels of basic to it that has become the norm, or at least be picked up by the right micro-influencers.
