Its a great collection of gowns and dresses. there is something here for every customer. Not rodarte understanding the assignment. This is stuff you buy to go with things you already own.

the worst parts are the more “original” things. The opening purple look is only topped by that shredded green, rose pink and canary yellow gown. which they then did in 2 other colors for some reason. The shorter version works.

The best look is basically a Lagerfeld dupe - the finale gown with the bows. Karl wouldve used a smoother fabric not the lace like Rodarte chose.

It makes me miss the cacophony of textures, prints and gimmicks of their older collections, at least they showcased imagination. It feels like the clearance rack at a nameless boutique, not offensive in its ugliness but in its banality.
