Rooney Mara

So happy to see Nate Parker in more things, and Casey Affleck, too. She looks nice at all the events. I especially love her gray coat at the after party.

I'm drooling over her outfit at the premiere, anyone know the designer?

She can do no wrong ! I love that her outfits are very laid-back. It almost look like she's wearing her own clothes on the red carpet or in the events.I also like she's surrounded by all these (hot) guys, dressed a bit in a tomboy way, yet but her face is so gracious and her make-up so pretty that your eyes go straight to her.

Oh and of course both coats are fantastic.

That gray speckled coat is absolutely gorgeous! The film is continually receiving a positive response which is great for a first feature. The director David Lowery's short "Pioneer" was excellent so I'm excited to see his first full length film.

Side Effects promotion starting soon. It has come so quickly. It seems it was only yesterday when people were disgusted with her hair. Anyway, the film is going to be screened at the Berlin Film Festival!

Film Society of Lincoln Center to Screen Sneak Preview of Steven Soderbergh's 'Side Effects’

Soderbergh, writer-producer Scott Z. Burns and stars Rooney Mara and Jude Law will participate in a Q&A after the screening at the Walter Reade Theater.

A sneak preview of Steven Soderbergh’s psychological thriller Side Effects will screen at the Walter Reade Theater in New York on Jan. 30, the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Film Comment Selects said Thursday.

The 8 p.m. screening will be followed by a Q&A with Soderbergh, writer-producer Scott Z. Burns and stars Rooney Mara and Jude Law.

Side Effects stars Mara as a woman who is prescribed a new anxiety medication by her psychiatrist (Law) that has adverse effects on the life she shares with her husband (Channing Tatum).

Side Effects will compete this year for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in February. The film, being distributed by Open Roads, opens in theaters Feb. 8 in the U.S.

Tickets are on sale now: $15 for Film Society Members and $20 for the general public.

I'm already excited to see what she'll wear at the Berlin Film festival^_^

Is her black knit sweater at Sundance by Bottega Veneta?

I don't think it will ever get made to be honest. I loved what Rooney wore whilst promoting TGWTD but I think I prefer her style a lot more now as it's more her.

^I said a while back I didn't think they would make the sequel. While the first movie was acclaimed it didn't do well enough worldwide to justify another 100 million dollar budget.

It would be a pity if she had to chop her hair all up again after finally growing out what was a horrible cut. I do think she should stick with black hair.

The Girl Who Played with Fire is confirmed though. Steven Zaillian is doing the script, they're just waiting to see if Fincher will do it again.
