I have been a while away - busy studying again - and am now catching up with the great choices and drawings i missed...

i love GUstafson!! i've been doing some research and i do like it a lot! so glad it reminds u of his work... anyhow what he does is much more edgy, defined, graphic (that's sort of what i wanted at first, something similar to david downton illustrations, but i finally decided to change the whole thing :P)
thank you all ^_^

Hi everybody! The entries this week are really inspirational. If anyone is working on anything and needs more time, let me know. Otherwise, I intend to submit my reviews and announce a winner, today at midnight, Paris time!

This week's contest confirms many long held and deeply cherished theories about the human artistic imagination at its best. The first and foremost is the sheer mystery of it all. How and why we perceive things as we do is beyond almost all reason. As we have seen by the entries this week, the utterly elegant but perfectly amazing Behati Prinsloo in her stunningly simple glittering black wraparound cannot be taken lightly.

Hana N Well, of course, the first entry blows away all vestiges of Newtonian physics and puts us immediately in the realm beyond space and time where music and love reign supreme. The earnest striving of the figure away from the reality of her black and white existence into the color of pure energy is simply stunning. Even the facial features and hair seem to be melting away as the dancer seeks her imminent merger with the sublime. Fantastic!

mirrra Here the dancer has reached the eye of the poetic hurricane. Totally transcendent and beyond any physical contact with the earthly and material, only the pure essence of her hyper-femininity remains. Wonderful!

borjacapella Finally the dancer returns to terra-firma transformed by the poetic energy and light into something totally new and different and totally beautiful. Magical!

It is really not easy to single out any one of these three magnificent pieces as they all form an essential part of the entire intellectual and artistic journey that is happening here, but if I must pick a winner, let it be.....

HAUTE COUTURE FALL WINTER 2005 by CHRISTIAN DIOR

This was my first show ever. The day before that I would have taken a look at my mother's magazines, and thought D&G was the coolest a tshirt could get. As you may guess I wasn't crazy about fashion really...
eventually then something changed... oh yes...

In love as I was with "a woman called something like Shalom Harlow" I had decided to look her name up on the internet. After very few research I found a couple of cool websites and then "accidentally" found dior.com
ACTION!:woot:

music, lights, clothes, the horses, the kid, the supermodels, Shalom!!!

I watched it a million times, and as I did that, I kept thinking what on earth did I have to get involved in to be part of that incledible beauty making process...

If I could only feel how I did that day... It will be the one who makes me feel like I did that day who will chose the shot next week

PS:I just hope this one has never been done and that you will enjoy doing this just as much as I enjoyed the show already two years ago.
I only regret it isn't a little bit less dark and dramatic... a tiny bit more colorfull
